This put me to sleep. But yet again the only reason I bought this was because I had to for English. But hey I don't know maybe you enjoy reading a collection of 50 old mediocre essays (excluding Declaration of Independence, I like that one). If you enjoy that kind of thing this is the book for you. If you don't well then it is a good way to fall asleep... Anyway the book was in good condition as the description says, it just gets 1 star for it dullness. Hope this helps.

This book came nice and on time, but when I opened the packaging the top corner of the book was already ripped. So this is kind of disappointing because I thought I was getting a new book not one with a rip. Meets it purpose besides that minor detail

Book was bought for high school student. Glad to be able to find the book. Not exactly sure why instructor picked this edition, unfortunately it was a lot more expensive than similar later editions.
