About the Author
Vigor Yang is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. He received a Ph.D. in jet propulsion from the California Institute of Technology in 1984. Professor Yang has authored many publications on combustion, propulsion, and fluid mechanics.
Thomas B. Brill is Professor of Chemistry and Chemcial Engineering at the University of Delaware. He has published extensively in the fields of fast pyrolysis, energetic materials, hydrothermal chemistry, and spectroscopy. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1970.
Wu-Zhen Ren is the president of the academic committee of propellants and explosives of the China Ordnance Industry Ministry. Previously, he served at the China Patents Bureau. He graduated from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 1958. Mr. Ren holds many patents in solid propellants and explosives.
