my wife likes this book and recommends it to our friends who tandem, want to tandem, or even just remark on our tandem bike. seemed pretty basic to me, but it was informative to her and the others who have read it on her recommendation

New Tandem Riders Found Very Useful

We are new tandem riders. My wife, the stoker, read this book and it gave her lots of great advice. Even though I am the more experienced cyclist, she is teaching me what to do on the tandem after reading this book. Too bad it is out of print. The copy we purchased was in poor physical shape and came apart at the spine.

Great book on tandems

Great book on tandems.Lots of useful information. I hope there is an update coming out sometime. This is the second copy I've had. The first copy I bought was new when the book was in print. The binding is poor quality. You can expect the pages to come apart. Still, it is worth buying, Nothing I've found out there is comparable.
